Environmentally friendly scented candles that smell good and won't give you a headache. We handcraft all our candles using Swedish rapeseed wax at our workshop in the countryside of Nysättra, just outside Norrtälje in Roslagen.
In our candle-making process, we use Swedish rapeseed wax, a natural and renewable material that is gentle on the environment.
Our scented candles spread a soft and pure scent, carefully selected from the finest perfume oils from Grasse, France, and pure essential oils. We want your home to smell lovely!
Natural candles made from rapeseed wax need a little extra love and care to stay beautiful for longer. Our scented candles are handmade and carefully tested to burn as beautifully as possible and fill your space with a lovely scent—without being overpowering.
The wax we use is completely natural, free from genetic modifications, and absolutely not tested on animals. The fragrance oils and essential oils we select are of the highest quality, and of course, they're not tested on animals either. And our wicks? 100% cotton, with no lead whatsoever.
Since rapeseed wax is a vegetable-based wax, you might sometimes notice a bit of "frost," uneven texture, or slight discoloration. This doesn’t affect the candle’s burn time or fragrance—it’s simply a characteristic of rapeseed wax and not something we want to change with unnecessary additives or chemicals.
For the candle to release its fragrance fully, it's actually the wax pool, the melted wax, that emits the scent. So, let the candle burn for up to an hour, or sometimes a little longer, to get the best fragrance experience.
At the start, you might see a bit of wax sticking to the glass edges—this will melt down on its own over time. As the flame moves lower, the candle burns warmer, which helps dissolve all the wax. This is part of our commitment to making candles that burn as safely as possible.
Using pure rapeseed wax in candle-making is still fairly new, and we're thrilled to be among the first to offer scented candles made from Swedish rapeseed wax! 💚
Rapeseed grows widely here in Sweden and across Europe. It helps protect the soil and is also used as animal feed. Thanks to the availability of rapeseed, there’s no risk of deforestation, and because our rapeseed wax is produced in Sweden, it has a much lower climate impact compared to, for example, soy wax which needs to be transported long distances.
And of course—our rapeseed wax is completely natural, with no genetic modifications and never been tested on animals 🌿
